Aquesta \u00e9s la ra\u00f3 per la qual les empreses es preocupen cada vegada m\u00e9s per aquestes q\u00fcestions i intenten prendre mesures implicant-se activament en els moviments socials. Aquest fenomen es denomina \u201cactivisme de marca\u201d i consisteix en el fet que les empreses juguen (o pretenen jugar) un rol de lideratge en el proc\u00e9s de canvi social.<\/p>\n<p>Un activisme de marca ben dissenyat, perqu\u00e8 concorda amb els principals valors o la visi\u00f3 de l&#8217;empresa que volen transmetre&#8217;s a trav\u00e9s de la marca, pot augmentar el reconeixement d&#8217;aquesta i la seva quota de mercat entre el p\u00fablic. El suport a les causes que importen als clients aporta fidelitat a la marca i implica comprom\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Per\u00f2 avui dia els consumidors s\u00f3n molt exigents i aprofundeixen en les pol\u00edtiques de les empreses, la qual cosa planteja la pregunta: es tracta sempre d&#8217;una veritable preocupaci\u00f3 o \u00e9s nom\u00e9s una estrat\u00e8gia de m\u00e0rqueting? D&#8217;aqu\u00ed ve que hagin sorgit conceptes com <em>greenwashing<\/em> o <em>pinkwashing<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>El <em>greenwashing<\/em> (el terme angl\u00e8s es podria traduir com a \u201crentat verd\u201d) \u00e9s el proc\u00e9s de fer la falsa impressi\u00f3 que uns determinats productes s\u00f3n respectuosos amb el medi ambient. El <em>pinkwashing<\/em> (que podria traduir-se com a \u201crentat rosa\u201d) pot referir-se tant a la promoci\u00f3 de productes i serveis de consum que fan costat a organitzacions ben\u00e8fiques relacionades amb el c\u00e0ncer de mama com a la promoci\u00f3 de la LGBT-<em>friendliness<\/em> o el suport a la diversitat de g\u00e8nere d&#8217;una empresa.<\/p>\n<p>Com podem identificar, com a consumidors, si es tracta de veritable preocupaci\u00f3 i comprom\u00eds o de mer m\u00e0rqueting? Cal examinar els principals aspectes de l&#8217;empresa, per exemple si la causa est\u00e0 relacionada amb all\u00f2 que designa la marca, si es tracta d&#8217;una tend\u00e8ncia temporal (moda passatgera), si les pol\u00edtiques internes de l&#8217;empresa titular de la marca s\u00f3n coherents amb la campanya o si es fan donacions a la causa implicada en la campanya.<\/p>\n<p>Al llarg dels anys, algunes de les empreses m\u00e9s importants del m\u00f3n han estat acusades de <em>greenwashing<\/em> o <em>pinkwashing<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Quan Daimler (Mercedes) va pintar el seu fam\u00f3s logotip de l&#8217;estrella amb els colors de l&#8217;arc de Sant Mart\u00ed a les xarxes socials, la campanya va ser ben acceptada per alguns consumidors, per\u00f2 altres van pensar que el canvi de logotip era merament simb\u00f2lic, i el missatge no casava amb les pol\u00edtiques reals de Daimler. En aquest sentit, es va criticar que el logotip no es canvi\u00e9s en pa\u00efsos d&#8217;Orient Mitj\u00e0, on les q\u00fcestions de diversitat de g\u00e8nere no estan pol\u00edticament acceptades.<\/p>\n<p>D&#8217;altra banda, Coca-Cola ha estat acusada de greenwashing recentment en dues ocasions. Primer, quan va promocionar la seva l\u00ednia baixa en sucre, \u201cCoca-Cola Life\u201d, com una &#8220;alternativa verda i saludable&#8221;. Els nutricionistes van assenyalar que la beguda seguia sense ser saludable, i llavors \u201cCoca-Cola Life\u201d va desapar\u00e8ixer de les prestatgeries dels supermercats. L&#8217;etiqueta de baix contingut en sucre enganyava els consumidors sobre el contingut total de sucres present en l&#8217;ampolla. En segon lloc, quan Coca-Cola va afirmar que es comprometia a reduir els residus pl\u00e0stics. L&#8217;empresa va ser demandada davant els tribunals per les seves afirmacions sobre els residus pl\u00e0stics, sent qualificada com una de les majors contaminadores de pl\u00e0stic del m\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Aquestes q\u00fcestions i moltes m\u00e9s es van debatre a la taula rodona que vaig moderar durant la recent confer\u00e8ncia de la INTA a Singapur, <em><strong>Greenwashing and Pinkwashing: True Concern or Marketing Strategy?<\/strong><\/em> En el m\u00f3n actual, no sols les persones, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 les empreses, les institucions i els partits pol\u00edtics han d&#8217;adoptar una postura davant els moviments socials que van sorgint.
