He is an associate in the firm\u2019s Barcelona office. His specialities include trademarks, copyright, designs, patents, unfair competition, domain names, and sports law. He represents clients before the Spanish courts, the Court of Justice of the EU, national and international bodies, and in settlement negotiations.<\/p>\n<p>From 2008 to 2010, he worked in the IP boutique Roland &amp; Douglas.<\/p>\n<p>Emil is president of the Section of Competition and Industrial Property Law of Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB). In the previous term 2022 \u2013 2025, he served as its secretary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">He also teaches in the Course on Unfair Competition and the Course on the Law of Trademarks, Patents, and Designs of Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>During the term 2024-2025, Emil was an auditor in EUIPO\u2019s Stakeholder Quality Assurance Panels (SQAP) audits.
