On August 1, 2023, the Geneva Act (1999) of the Hague Agreement concerning the international registration of industrial designs will enter into force in Brazil.<\/p>\n

As of this date, the companies and designers from Brazil will be able to protect their industrial designs in 96 countries by means of a single international application and with a single set of fees.<\/p>\n

Conversely, the companies and designers of the countries which are already part of the Hague System will be able to designate Brazil in their international industrial design applications.<\/p>\n

With this new adhesion, there is a total number of 71 Contracting Parties of the Geneva Act of 1999.<\/p>\n
