It cannot be denied that nowadays counterfeiting and piracy pose a threat to multiple industry sectors and business of all ranks are affected by them.<\/p>\n

According to the EUIPO \u201cthe volume of international trade in counterfeit and pirated products amounted up to 2.5 % of global trade in 2019, and imports of such products accounted for up to 5.8 % of EU imports that year, or around EUR 119 billion.\u201d<\/p>\n

But which solutions are there against this reality? Where can -trustworthy- information be found on anticounterfeiting and antipiracy solutions?<\/p>\n

We now have the answer to these questions: The EUIPO\u2019s web-based tool called \u201cthe Anti-Counterfeiting and Anti-Piracy Technology Toolkit (ACAPT)\u201d will help us-to a certain extent- solve all these problems.<\/p>\n

The ACAPT guide is aimed at businesses of all sizes which might want to learn more about taking action to safeguard their products and services. It provides search functions for a comprehensive overview of solutions currently available on the market and lays the foundation for users to develop a comprehensive anti-counterfeiting strategy based on their business needs and requirements.<\/p>\n
