She joined CURELL SUÑOL in 2006. Her professional practice focuses on trademark law, advising on the implementation of global strategies for the protection, management and defence of trademark portfolios, particularly abroad. She works with an extensive network of correspondents and international law firms to ensure adequate trademark protection, tailored to the practices of each jurisdiction and to each client’s commercial activity and international expansion plans. Her practice includes conducting availability searches, analysing the viability of new distinctive signs, identifying risks arising from prior rights, and advising on the best protection strategies. She also handles the filing and monitoring of trademark applications abroad, including the management of objections raised by industrial property offices. Her activities also include monitoring trademark rights in relation to third-party applications and devising strategies for opposition, invalidation and appeal proceedings. She also advises on the out-of-court resolution of disputes, the review of formal notices and the analysis of disputes arising from unauthorised use, imitations and other conduct likely to infringe trademark rights.
