She joined CURELL SUÑOL in 2015. She advises clients on the registration and enforcement of trade marks, including opposition and appeal proceedings before the Spanish Patent and Trade Mark Office (OEPM) and the EUIPO, as well as court actions. She also coordinates foreign associates in the protection of trade marks abroad, manages negotiations, drafts contracts and agreements, prepares clearance search reports and handles cease-and-desist letters concerning infringements of industrial property rights.

Previously, she worked as a lawyer at several law firms in Barcelona. She also worked as a paralegal and lawyer at companies and law firms in the United States and volunteered at the office of a member of the Canadian Parliament.

She holds a Law Degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) (2000). She also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Paralegal Studies from Arapahoe Community College (USA) (2003), an LL.M. in Intellectual and Industrial Property Law from the University of Washington (USA) (2004), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business from the same university (2005). In addition, she has attended various specialised courses in Industrial Property.

She has spoken at the Spanish Group of AIPPI on the subject of non-traditional trade marks, and at the ICAB on the distinctiveness of slogan trade marks. He also took part in the round-table discussion “How to protect your design against copying” during Barcelona Design Week, delivering a presentation entitled “Ways of protecting designs through trade mark law”.

She has been recognised by the Best Lawyers and Women’s IP World rankings.
