01 Feb WIPO Global Awards for SMEs Edition 2023
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO, Geneva) is preparing for the 2023 edition of its World Intellectual Property Awards, which will reward small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that make intelligent use of Intellectual Property.
The application period ends on the 31st of March 2023. It is open to SMEs that, through any form of Intellectual Property, promote innovation and creativity for the benefit of society and achieve their business objectives at the same time.
SMEs from all WIPO member states (193 countries) and from all sectors of the economy are eligible to participate.
The selection of the 20 finalists will take place in May 2023 and the selection of the 7 winning SMEs will take place in June 2023. The awards will be presented at a ceremony in Geneva in July 2023.
The winning SMEs, in addition to attending the awards ceremony, will have the opportunity to be internationally promoted and to be guided by a personalised mentoring programme.
