Call 2023 – SPTO Grants for the promotion of patent and utility model applications

On 25 April 2023, an extract of the Resolution of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO) was published in the Official State Gazette (BOE), announcing the 2023 call for grants on a competitive basis for the promotion of patent and utility model applications in Spain and abroad.

The call consists of two programmes:

(a) Support programme for the promotion of patent and utility model applications abroad aimed at subsidising the costs related to the payment of fees for obtaining a European, international or national patent in foreign national offices.

b) Support programme for the promotion of Spanish patent and utility model applications for SMEs and individuals to subsidise the costs related to the payment of fees for obtaining them.
