Only a sudden heart attack could stop our colleague German’s great heart in its tracks a few days ago. A heart where the talent of a cartoonist, the passion for heavy metal, commitment and professional honesty, infinite doses of affection and desire to live beat in unusual harmony.
As a child (the drawing below was done at the age of 14 years) he began to humorously portray the chaotic scenes of a fast-paced reality. For years he edited a fanzine with his artistic name, “The Pistatx”, with such reserved circulation among initiates that it has become an object of worship.
German, “Yerman”, joined Curell Suñol in 2006 and has been part of different teams and departments, where everyone competed for him. Even in recent times, in the distance imposed by the remote working, the density of his distant presence was noticeable and comforting. The free man, the artist, the companion, the friend was there, working side by side and with a half smile that said: “Take it easy and long live R&R!”
