12 Jan A positive start to 2022: new partner María Ceballos
2022 starts with good news for CURELL SUÑOL: our colleague María Ceballos has been appointed as a new partner of the firm, bringing youth and talent to our Management Team.
María joined CURELL SUÑOL in 2007 and worked as an associate at the Barcelona office until 2015, when she moved to the firm’s office in Madrid.
She is a Law graduate at the University of Deusto and also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the University Ramón Llull (ESADE). She qualified as a chartered Spanish Industrial Property Attorney in 2014.
María advises on trademarks, designs, geographical indications, domain names and unfair competition matters and is specialized in brand protection. She also acts as a lawyer before the European Union Court of Justice in Luxembourg and the Spanish national courts (contentious-administrative, civil courts). Her practice includes counseling on out-of-court dispute resolutions, infringement issues and drafting of contracts, license and assignment agreements.
María has participated in many national and international IP events, also as a speaker. She is an active member of several international IP organizations, such as MARQUES, INTA and AIPPI.
As a recognition for her task and skills, she has been awarded IP Rising Star by Managing Intellectual Property IP STARS (2019/20/21) and included in other rankings, such as Leaders League (2019/20/21) and Best Lawyers (2020/21).
We are most glad to have her in our Management Team, together with partners Mireia Curell, Oscar Pírez, Santiago Jordá, Robert Roser and Nèstor Corominas.
We look forward to working with you in exciting new projects and take this opportunity to wish you a healthy 2022, full of hope and prosperity.
